Transit service will be reduced, but additional parking access will be available for core faculty/staff permit holders.

Eisenhower Deck to Add Hourly Visitor Parking This Summer

The addition of hourly parking is intended to better serve campus visitors who need short-term parking near central academic, administrative, and residence hall destinations.

Sean Howard named new fleet services manager

A Penn State graduate with a degree in Integrative Arts, Sean spent 16 years at Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA), where he managed transportation operations and worked closely with a large team of operators to deliver safe and reliable public transit.

Summer 2026 student parking registration begins May 4

All students, regardless of semester standing, are eligible to register for summer parking. Graduate students not enrolled in classes are also eligible to purchase a student parking permit.

Reminder: University Park employee, student parking rates to increase for the 2026-2027 academic year

Parking revenue is used to provide various campus transportation programs and services, to include campus transit, the RIDEpass reduced-fare mass transit pass program for employees and graduate students, campus bicycle facilities, and the Spin E-Bike Share Program.

Transportation Services announces reduced capacity for Lot 83 parking beginning this summer

Off-campus student overnight storage parking will be reduced by approximately 20%.

All bicycles operated or stored on campus must be registered and must display a valid registration sticker.

Transportation Services to offer free visitor parking at select lots during winter break

Complimentary parking will be available at the East, Eisenhower, HUB, Nittany, and West decks, as well as the Commuter lots (Stadium West, Jordan East, Porter North, and Porter South).
